ABOUT CHRISTOPHER MAGOON

 

Christopher Magoon, MD is a psychiatry resident at Columbia University.  He graduated from Yale University with a degree in history and has lived in China as both a Luce and Fulbright scholar.  His writing focuses on medical history, China, and mental health.  His work has appeared in The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, and Huffington Post, among others.  Originally from Canton, Ohio, Christopher now lives in Manhattan with his wife Alison and their dog Willow.
